Little bit much on the interpretation. It could just be a reaction to losing the fight without regard to the correctness of the stoppage.

It could also be that they were preparing for foster to jump in at the earliest convenience to stop parker from winning, which would make it expected somehow but still not right.

Notice i am not interpreting, but only offering alternative explanations. And there are probably 50 more

And considering the importance of the fight.

Compare this stoppage by Howard Foster to the Warrington-Lara stoppage. Warrington was hurt very badly, but he was given every opportunity to continue by this same referee, Howard Foster.

Foster always favors the British boxer.

I think it was a tad early. Maybes another 10 secs or so. Parker said after that he felt he could of continued but didn't actually complain. Fair play to him.

And taking nothing away here from Wardley, I strongly predicted Parker would stop him in the later rnds.

We cant use this to justify it either. Parker's whole gimmick is that hes a lovable nice guy, he's never going to jump up and down hopping mad, even if thats the way he really feels. Sometimes theres such a thing as being too nice and this is a perfect example of it.

That is his nature. And genuine too I think. He doesn't do sour grapes.

That's one reason why I like him.

Its genuine yeah but hes in a situation where its actually perfectly understandable for him to get angry about this and he's making people think he's okay with the stoppage which in my opinion is hurting him. People are even using it against him as a way to justify this stoppage. You don't always have to be a nice guy!

Tbh, it would have looked more sus if he had actually gone into one as that's not his nature. He knows he can't change anything by complaining so probably sees it as a wasteful negative..

I think Parker just genuinely rationalises most things. That's why he'll just dust off and come again. And I think he probably doesn't give a flying one about what people think.....

Howard Foster gave Warrington every imaginable chance to recover against Lara.

Obviously he's dishonest referee who favors British boxers.

Early stoppage,Wardley was wailing away but landing next to nothing, Foster as usual doing his job for his pay masters,Foster has needed investigating for years .

Hated it live, but Parker and Andy Lee's lack of protest kind of leads me to believe Parker was done.

Parker was losing the round, but he looked tired, not rocked. Wardley was also looking tired and maybe ready to punch himself out as well. If Wardley was looking more energetic and accurate then maybe the stoppage would have been justified. Parker also had just thrown 2 punches right before Wardley came back with 4 sloppy punches. Too early based on how I saw it.
