100%, and it also kind of validates my pre-fight take when picking Wardley, that Huni would probably win by shutout over Parker. Not saying Parker couldn't drop him or hurt him, just not enough to keep him down.

Do you think Parker could have pulled it off had he come in a little lighter, or was it just his time to lose, riding high off wins with asterisks attached?

No... I think Fabio would've knocked him the **** out had he come in lighter.

Watched it all back and scored it and had it 6-4 in rounds to Wardley going into the 11th.

The stand out round before the 10th when Wardley had Parker doing the chicken dance was round 2, and there and then Wardley had Parker 1 punch away from a stoppage. Parker really had Wardley going in the 6th, which was his best round of the fight. However I gave the 7th and 8th 9th to Wardley. Parker won the 9th wide.

The commentators were strangely adamant that Parker was ahead despite most of the rounds not having a clear winner. I personally though either 5-5 or 6-4 to Wardley was fair.

    1: Parker
    2: Fabio wide
    3: Fabio
    4: Fabio
    5: Parker wide
    6: Parker wide
    7: Fabio
    8: Fabio
    9: Parker wide
    10: Fabio wide
11: Fabio wide and stoppage win.

That scorecard is my unbiased view after the dust has settled. Sorry if it is not aligned to the mainstream view. I think 5-5 even is probably better than my 6-4 Wardley. When I watch it again its probably going to be 5-5 after 10.

We're all entitled to an opinion. I just saw the rounds as quite decisive each way. Round 3 was close to Wardley and there was another in the middle I had as close which was consensus to Parker. So 6-4 Parker was the closest I could make it for Wardley. Round 11 would have been a 10-8, even with no knockdown.

Felt 96-94 was fair but 98-92 no way and as for the stoppage Foster is always going early but I see no way Parker wasn't getting seriously hurt if it continued. For anyone saying Wardley was going to punch himself out the man is the heavyweight Nigel Benn hurt and tired is when he kills you.

Totally agree with this it would of been even at the end of the 11th and I see no scenario where Parker would be competitive in the 12th.
