I am a Parker fan, I like the man. However in the ring I never found him the most interesting. During the fight I was for Parker, but damn I couldn't refrain myself for being a Wardley fan. What a warrior, what guts, what a violence I am definitely a fan That's a man Congratulations Mr Wardley
Absolutely. Wardley is a warrior and exciting to watch. Wardley takes a lot of punishment though and I'd say we are in for a good time not a long time, with him.
I was supporting Parker in the bout, however Wardley stepped up and proved himself, no jive talking crap, just did his talking in the squared circle. So yes i am in Wardleys fan club.
Wardleys a legend. How couldn't you like the guy. Started boxing at 20 as a white collar boxer and now is fighting for several million dollar purses. Head as hard as granite. I was routing for Parker but delighted Wardley won. True underdog story
I didn't want to see either Parker or Wardley lose. I'm actually going to... root for Wardley over Usyk. His story is just too good. I know that Usyk is likely to wipe the canvas with him, but man, imagine if Wardley actually pulled it off. Would be just about tied with Douglas beating Tyson.
Wardley is what boxing is all about; he's got the heart of a lion, hits like a mule, and is deceptively quick for a heavyweight. Likeable guy outside the ring too. He is limited and flawed, so he will get into serious trouble at some stage, but he's a great addition to the world-level HW scene.
I always was but this was a bit of a quick stoppage, so pretty neutral. In any event, nothing against Wardley. Good luck to him.
He got my respect, I didn't think he'd beat Clarke in the rematch or at least he was limited to domestic level but he showed for all his technical flaws he's a far better fighter than I thought. I wouldn't call myself a fan yet but I could see that changing if he keeps giving us these dramatic fights and fighting all comers.
Absolutely not. Just got to watch the fight in its entirety and it's one of the most corrupt, inept stoppages I've ever seen. Majority of shots missed, Parker somewhat responsive. I would call a standing 8-count a dodgy decision. This is Brit refereeing.
Yep, not that I ever disliked him in anyway, btw. But Wardley's now got more of my attention and he's definitely grown on me. I strongly favoured Parker to stop him in the later rnds. I've got no choice but to give Wardley his due credit.
