Navarrete vs Nunez, Muratalla vs Cruz and Murtazaliev vs Kelly all in the first 2 months of 2026. Eddie Hearn is really locked in.
This fight will be insane. Navarette used to be my favourite fighter for a few years but he's dropped the ball a bit lately. Maybe all the wars have aged him fast. A few years ago I'd have him winning this comfortably. Now I'm not so sure. Suarez deserves the winner.
Charly Suarez being denied of a deserved rematch. Saying that though I can’t complain about this match up. This has the makings of a real FOTY candidate. I honestly think Nunez will finish where Suarez left off.
Suarez isn’t being denied anything he’s going to accept step-aside money and then will be mandated to face the winner.
Those crazy weight cuts don't work as well as you age. It takes a toll on the body. Navarrete isn't good enough to move up so he kills himself to make the lower weight where his size makes up for his skills.
Good news for me and bad news for Charly Suarez who have almost 38 years old and will not have his rematch against Emanuel Navarrete. Also I'm a Emanuel Navarrete's fan but it's pretty curious that he want the unification now when he see Eduardo Nunez who has in a hell fight with Christopher Diaz-Velez opponent that they have in common in their records.
This sucks for Suarez. Maybe he can get an opportunity to fight for the interim belt. The second highest ranked contender is Ogawa.
Feel like this'll be a fun as hell war the first few rounds, then Navarrete will gas badly and end up hitting the canvas and hitting it hard. I stand by my assertion that Suarez was on his way to genuinely stopping him before being robbed of the TKO win, dude was starting to hit the wall hard. I'm just saying, it's awful funny how Navarrete's team seemed to be ****ing miracle workers on that cut, then it's ruled from a headbutt and therefore one that wouldn't lose him the fight if he couldn't continue, and all of a sudden it's like they don't have ANY sort of experience and he comes out with it seemingly having no mending work done to it. Anyways, I'm gonna back Nunez to win by mid rounds stoppage. Damn good fight to look forward to in the new year, plus the likelihood of the winner fighting Suarez
