Greb fight footage????

I'm a trader in early 1900s fight films. I happen to have the series in Mint Condition, how much are you willing to pay for it?

I`ve never come accross any Greb footage myself, but I would not be shocked in the least if some reclusive and rich collector out there has some footage of him. You guys would be shocked at some of the fights that are out there which are believed to be lost to time, but it comes down to you having something to offer that the other guy wants. Many collectors are well off financially you see and won`t take money no matter what the amount offered for a particularly rare piece of footage, but they will swap film if you have something rare to offer.

Also, keep in mind that many folks used to film fights with those old hand held and cranked cameras, and several fights which were not filmed during the war years (39`-45`) were captured on film this way instead. How much of that footage has survived I do not know, but I`m sure there is plenty of it out there. I know for a fact that someone filmed the third Moore/Charles fights as someone I know was there that day and saw someone filming it, and I know someone who had about 6 minutes of footage from the first Zale/Graziano footage as well as a live call of the LaMotta/Cerdan fight.

Unfortunately a fire in his house burned up that and several other films he had, and now they are probably lost to time. Anyways, don`t be surprised to see some Greb footage turn up one day along with some other rare stuff, I know I will be trying my darnest to get a hold of it thats for sure but it is not easy I`ll tell you guys that much.

 

I have Greb highlights on the shelf sandwiched between Moore - Burley and SRR - Gavilan II.

 

I had Greb-Walker but traded it in for some rare footage of Paul Spadafora kicking Floyd Mayweather's ass in the gym. Ripped the guy off blindly.

No secrets being kept here from my end buddy.... I don`t have the footage I`m just letting you guys know that I know for a FACT that the footage DOES exist and that I am trying my best to get a hold of it, but its going to take some time to do so. Say dp, did you get the last e-mail I sent you awhile back?
