I mean Tyson got rocked, but it didn't look like he was ready to go. Holyfield did a hell of a job in that 1st fight but I feel like the fight was stopped premature. I see alot of fights nowadays getting the benefit of the doubt, this seemed to be one of them IMO. FTR I still think Holyfield had Tysons number.

Looked like good timing on the stoppage IMO. Tyson was on shaky legs and was getting battered. He was also well behind on the cards, and headed for an L either way.

No definitely the right move by the ref.
Tyson was rocked, hurt and Holyfield was ready to really batter him.

Not at all Tyson hadn't recovered from the last round he barely survived the 10th round taking a battering.

And Tyson showed no signs of fighting back or recovering in the next round.

    Perfect stoppage for me.

Tyson was actually knocked out in the 10th round. In the 11th, he was knocked out again. He took a tremendous amount of punches. He was standing, but he was completely drained. Perhaps he should have stayed in the corner and stayed out until the 11th round; it was stupid and took a toll on his health. If the referee hadn't stopped the fight, it would have been even worse.

Tyson was semi conscious and getting absolutely hammered. **** me thats as good a stoppage as it gets. The late Mitch Halpern did a great job that fight imo. I never understood whyTysons camp bitched about Halperns performance post fight. He saved Tyson from more CTE than was necessary.

    The stoppage was exemplary.

Tyson was out on his feet and getting battered. Good stoppage.

The stoppage in the second fight was too late, if you want to take issue with either fight. Part of Holyfield's ear was on the canvas; the worst transgression I have seen during a fight. Not sure what Mills Lane was waiting for. Possibly extra bodies in the ring between him and Tyson. As @JohnThomas1 says, the first stoppage - Mitch Halpern's was spot on. Tyson seemed to agree.

Everything had already been beaten out of Tyson, it was merciful tbh

Perfectly timed. Mitch Halpern was an excellent referee. I'm sad he's gone.

Tyson was completely finished and being dominated, he said he went blank after he got knocked down, he would have been sparked if the ref didn't jump in, have you just watched that fight? Nobody thought that was a quick stoppage at the time, Tyson was thoroughly beaten that night.
