Who was faster in their prime: Hector Camacho or Meldrick Taylor?

    Taylor was better at throwing shoeshine arm punching shots that gave the illusion of him throwing faster combos. In reality they were both equally fast but Camacho's punches were more hurtful and precise.

    Like many have said already, Meldrick Taylor had the faster hands. Against Chavez, he threw a combo so fast that all I saw was Chavez's face bouncing like a bobblehead. It was in the later rounds, but I can't recall which round. I just went back and checked. It was in round 9 and about 45 seconds into the round. Even Lampley said, "Look at the speed of Meldrick Taylor..."

    I don't want to say that Camacho had the faster feet. The best way I can describe it is that he was more fluid in dancing away.

    At 130 pounds for my money it was Camacho.
