Ahh, you're of the opinion that by the time the opportunity presents itself again, he'll avoid the fight due to his body being wrecked from accumulation of grueling wars. I see your point!

50/50. Boots wins the early rounds, Oritz the later.

Wouldn't be shocked if it happens. This boxing era takes too long.

If Ortiz look like he did last night it might be another short fight, Ortiz by KO!

Ortiz destroys him. This might not be a mismatch on paper, but it will be in the ring!

Jaron Ennis wins by decision. I will be placing a bet on it.

I wouldn't risk it if I were you. Go watch the Chukhadzhian rematch first.

Yeah that fight showed Ennis isn't some slick master boxer, he likes to trade because he loves to lead like most fast fighters and isn't really a good counter puncher that can fight off the back foot. He'll end up standing in front of Ortiz too often and trading too much. Maybe Ennis can stop Ortiz before Ortiz stops him, but I wouldn't put money on it. Style wise this favours Ortiz.

When in against face first brawlers his skill set gets greatly flattered. When in against a fighter with good timing, reflexes, ring IQ, chin and speed, like Karen. We see his true level.

Still 50/50. It looks like 2026 is going to be a great year for boxing with Lopez-Stevenson, and Ennis-Ortiz finally happening in the first quarter.

I favor Ortiz but if Ennis is dialed in it could be interesting. I just think that Ortiz is tougher and more powerful. Skill wise they are close but Ortiz actually has better defense. Ennis is not some masterful boxer he likes to get in there and mix it up and you don't want to do that with a guy like Ortiz. I think it could be a shoot out for as long as it lasts but I think Ortiz stops him around the 10th.
