It would be funny to see Spence get clobbered but we want the Ennis fight.

Jumping into this fight would be a BAD idea for Spence. I prefer the idea of him coming back against his similarly inactive ex-stablemate Jermell.

As for Ortiz I'd rather see him take on Boots or fight for a title next.

Absolutely horrible fight for Spence, given how long he's been out. His team seems set on giving him CTE.

Yep Spence Charlo would be more fair and probably easier to make being with the same promoter.

Spence loses to every single top fighter. He's finished.

I’d favour a prime Spence over Vergil but Spence’s best days are probably behind him. He was a very very good fighter in his prime. Its hard to favour Spence now when he is so inactive, on top of the off the ring issues etc.

Jumping straight into a Vergil Ortiz fight after such a lay off and other issues would be incredibly brave.

Would rather see Spence fight Charlo right now and shut that big fat mouth of his.

This would be a really weird fight for Vergil as well.

It doesn’t make much sense for Vergil to fight a WW that is so inactive.

Would have been FOTY in their primes. Prime Spence was great to watch against pressure fighters.

Only makes sense for Ortiz if he's offered way more money than an Ennis fight. He'll get zero props for beating up Spence who is a shell of his former self.

But funny enough it's like Benn Jr vs Eubank Jr in terms of local interest. Both are from Dallas suburbs and the demographic angle (Mexican vs black) would certainly draw a big crowd to the Cowboys arena. 50,000 easy. Hell I'll go back up there for this one.

Spence is here for extra pennies now only. Hes been gone for a long time. The Crawford fight was the right fight to bow out on given everything outside the ring. Brilliant champ at 147lbs, peak version of Spence could have made real noise at 154lbs if he had moved up earlier.

Great name for someone to get on their resume though cause a real beatdown on Spence is there for the taking to boost your profile.

A more intriguing fight for me would be the one that got away, Thurman vs Spence at 154lbs.

Spence is basically just a corpse in boxing terms these days. He’s the sort of easy kill that looks decent on a CV but he’s completely shot.

Spence v our man Tim might be a good crossroads fight down under next year?

Spence hasn't fought in over 2 years. He's been linked to a few fight but then nothing, I'll believe it when they are both in the ring. I personally would be surprised if we ever see Spence back in the ring ever again.
