Vergil Ortiz vs Errol Spence

Spence even after his car crash had better wins than Vergil. He was in the top 5 P4P still.

 

Undeservingly so, it's just that Americans, fighters exposed to western publications and higher weight classes are getting preferential treatment over a true all-division all-venues all-passports view. At best Spence was a P4P#9-10 type of fella.

 

I’d be going with Ortiz at this point. Maybe Spence just didn’t have the tools to give Crawford issues and he still has a lot left and deals with Ortiz better and beats him and Spence isn’t finished all along? I certainly wouldn’t go with that narrative, but I can’t be 100%.

 

Don’t get me wrong Vergil is a good fighter but what has he proven to be better than prime Spence?

 

Spence should fight Tim Tszyu instead. That's a good fight between 2 fighters on the mend.

Ortiz should be fighting Ennis after all the trash talking they did on Saturday.

 

Tim doesn't have a belt. Vergil does.

Sabatical jokes aside Spence has 1 loss to Terence Crawford. Hes getting some sort of title shot.

What is wrong with being the 9th or 10th best fighter P4P? Thats at worst a top 2 or top 3 guy in an amazing division.

 

I hope Ortiz faces Ennis, a match against Spence doesn't excite me at all, I think Errol's career at the top level is over now.

Ortiz does to him what Spence did to his opponents, but more brutally because he has more power.

Ennis ducked Crawford and Vergil already. I would much rather Murdervaliev or Fundora at this point over Ennis tbh

 

He could prove to be. But now? I’d exercise caution.
