Holmes still had a good right hand and stopped 15 opponents in world title fights which is more than Lewis.

Holmes's advantages are better jab and Lewis did struggle quite a few times against decent jabbers see Bruno, Mercer, fights.

Holmes also has superior stamina to Lewis and I feel like Lewis would struggle with a fast technical boxer like Holmes over the distance.

That is odd that a 42 year old coward like Larry Holmes challenged undefeated Ray Mercer and boxed his ears off. His jab alone was a sight to behold. A couple years later Lennox Lewis barely edged Ray Mercer while he was in his physical prime. Ray Mercer out outjabbed Lewis that night at MSG.
Later he said he learned from Larry Holmes the importance of the jab.

What about accumulation of punishment? If Lewis doesn't hit quite as hard what he lands more of them being able to set his punches up better than Shavers ever could.

It's possible. Lewis was a much better all around boxer than Shavers; no one argues that point.

Up for grabs but since you’re putting a gun to my head I better making a decision…….. Holmes by split decision in a controversial outcome

I don't see how that's even up for discussion

Lewis wasn't "slow", he could move well and punch quick for a such a big guy, but Holmes clearly has the edge in raw fluid hand speed and nimbleness of the foot. Holmes was also better at evading with head movement, and for what it's worth seemed to be a quicker thinker too.

Tim Witherspoon and Mike Weaver great fighters.

He beat Mercer when he was an old man too.
