Hey everyone so I’m researching into a few coaches and currently two I’m looking at are Ben Davison & Derrick James. Both these two strike me as…..

tactically good coaches with solid game plans.
    Good analytical coaches.
Emphasis on the fundamentals of boxing.
Strong focus on discipline & ring IQ.

But I’m not too sure who’s better as a coach? I’m leaning towards Derrick James based on his previous success but he’s not doing too much lately at the top level whereas Ben has a lot of young talent coming through who are predicted to be world class….. Ituma, Vong, mccormack etc…..

who would you guys say is better?

"Boxercise Ben" is known for knowing nothing about boxing. But that's okay because most 'professional' trainers are just there to be at the gym early to make the boxers accountable, and be willing to work long hours and travel. That's the way it's always been.
Ben is a good cornerman because he's easy to ignore.

    Is this a joke post.
Davison hasn't got a clue about the game really, resorts to soundbites and cliches in the corner when things aren't going his way, everyone that's gone to work with him was already an established good fighter.
