John is probably seething that it's AJ, not Tyson, getting the shot. He'd soon change his tune if it were Tyson Fury vs Paul for a $50 mil demolition job.

As much as I’m not a fan of Joshua the person, nor the boxer that much, I’ve still got enough awareness to know that even if Jai Opetaia stepped up from cruiserweight straight into a Joshua fight, it’s hard to see past AJ knocking him out early.

You have to think the people around Jake Paul can’t be too concerned about anything beyond the payday. Unless it’s basically a fixed spar, it’s like sending someone over the top at the Battle of the Somme armed with nothing but a pea-shooter.

I'd expect Opetaia to destroy AJ

See, I try and build Josh up and bang – it shows his credibility is more shot than his chin. I still can’t believe we’re actually going to get press conferences and a whole build-up where people will seriously discuss Jake Paul’s “chances” in this fight.

I honestly think AJ will play the humble card, take it easy on him, and then say he did it for the fans and didn’t want to blow him out. And Jake is living proof that if you tell yourself the same bull**** over and over, you start believing it. The fact this is even happening shows the bubble he’s in, almost cult-like.

I mean, the guy who lost to Tommy Fury, who then went life and death with KSI, is now stepping in with Joshua. You couldn’t make it up.

You can already get as low as 6/1 on Jake Paul beating AJ, the bookies must know something we don't.

I doubt I'll stay up to watch it. I might get a few hours sleep beforehand.
Unless the undercard is really good ... like Ricky Gervais v Zhilei Zhang or some fights of that caliber.

I'll just watch the KO too see if it's as brutal as the last time AJ fought a novice boxer.

I would be looking for similar to stay up such as:

    John Fury v Micky Theo
    Coleen Rooney v Rebekah Vardy
Neil Razor Ruddock v Roy Keane
    Ant & Dec v Jedward
