    Maybe.

IMHO, though, he couldn't be more wrong...

Mostly because arguably Joshua's greatest weakness is a desperation to be liked - and it's made him fight aggressively and leave himself open in fights he'd have stood a decent chance of winning if he'd fought more conservatively (as he was against Usyk, IMHO, he'd beat basically everyone else right now on cards)...

He'll want that KO purely because that's what'll please the fans and get him the love-in he's desperate for... And he'll get it...

(Unless it's all fixed, then it doesn't matter who the opponent is or was and this is all irrelevant!)

    You're right that there's a reason it's AJ....

But the reason is much simpler - Joshua brings the views and the money, even now.

If it was all about who's most washed up it'd be another 59 year old.
If it was about a weak chin combined with mental and physical decline, and how hard they can hit doesn't matter, it would be Wilder.

    But it's not.

Because it's all about the money. That's why it's AJ and everyone knows it.

Stands as much chance as Tommy Fury would.

The $1.10 they are offering for AJ is a gift.

You could add 50 zeros to Paul’s odds and he’d still be unders.

If this is a real fight, then Paul won’t just get knocked out, he is a chance of being mentally incapacitated or worse.

AJ ends the fight at literally any point he pleases.

Circus Hearn with another clown matchup. In my mind AJ has not beaten a serious opponent since Pulev…. That’s 5 years. It’s getting painful watching AJ tarnishing whatever legacy he has left. Being remembered for beating Jake Paul is not the wisest of choices- but perhaps the only logical way out. Anything else is just too dangerous at this point. Hope AJ can turn this around for another run. But at this point that is just not happening anymore.

Yep but I would still not bet on this fight as I do not trust anything to be completely above board in a Jake Paul fight.

Yep, you’re essentially taking 1/10 that this is not a con job.

That’s really all you are betting on.

And those odds aren't great in modern boxing.

I can see him pulling out of this like he did with Rahman Jnr claiming that AJ is refusing to make 245

It’s going to be “Jake did better than expected” of course.

Remember when fanboys would spam this board saying Joshua has the best resume at HW?

    LOL

Who really thinks this will be legit? There's no reason why Jake Paul would do this. It doesn't make sense. He has zero chance of winning in a real fight.
