I must admit I misread the title , I thought this was for a rematch at 147

At 154 id go with Hearns over 12 and Leonard over 15. It’d be close

Leonard may have his moments like R6 of their first fight that can help in worsening Tommy's fading, but will have to give up rounds and suffer some vicious jabs, left hooks and right hands until and after that.

But as previous posters have pointed out. Hearns learned to shed his pride and survive and won't be overtrained. Leonard's going to have an even harder time at 154.

    Hearns UD 15.

Same as the 1st and 2nd fight, if its 12 rds Hearns probably wins, if its 15rds Leonard wins by ko.

Probably looks somewhat similar to how the actual 2nd fight went.

I picked Leonard by decision over 15 rounds but if its 12 rounds I would change by pick to Hearns by decision.

In 81, Ray had had his moment where he went to school. Montreal. It was the biggest learning curve of his career. Tommy hadn't had his at that point. His Montreal moment was Ray. So, he had more room to improve from their first fight with that education behind him.

He was also coming up 23 so had some physical maturing to do. In 81 Ray was at his absolute peak and , even then, it was barely enough to get over the line. A more mature, physically and mentally, Tommy would be asking a lot more questions while having a lot more answers himself.

Also, Emanuel Steward would learn a lot more about preparing Tommy and strategy for the fight. It was his Montreal, too. Tommy wouldn't be overtrained nor would he be banking on a kayo. Steward would have him boxing. Beyond 'You're blowing it', I'm not sure what more Angelo Dundee could offer Ray in the corner.

All factors point to Team Tommy for me. Competitive but clear decision

Same outcome imo. Ray doesn't lose anything going up and fighting at 154. He's going to have all the same adv.'s rounds 13 to 15 as he did in the first one.
