Imagine AJ’s post fight rant if he lost this one?

He'd probably have an actual mental breakdown, as he should if he somehow lost.

I refuse to believe Jake and his team are this obtuse. If they are, when he is on a ventilator for 2 months after the Joshua fight, they can shoulder the most blame for not talking him out of this. Chávez Jr was on his way to getting stopped by Fonfara at 175, got dropped heavily, and then his corner pulled him out. He was all over the place. Fonfara was not a big puncher at 175 either.

Let's not forget that since then, Chavez abused alcohol for years, went to rehab, and even then, Paul couldn't put a dent in him, even though he was basically a blown-up 160-pounder taking on a cruiserweight. This moron is making a mockery of the sport, and because he generates that much money, nobody close to him dares to sit him down and tell him he is delusional.

This clown is on another planet and thinks he has power and ability anywhere near Daniel Dubois. It's going to be a horrible night for him where his delusions all come home to roost. It's going to be a disturbing night, and it's probably a new low for a sport that keeps sinking.

Cassius Chaney, Jake Paul’s chief sparring partner for this camp who was originally supposed to fight AJ last night in Saudi.

Unless it's all staged, I'm still thinking it may very well not happen. It's all too easy for Paul to have some rational sane moment of cold hard realisation as his thoughts are wandering before falling asleep ( safely!) And knowing whatever huge amount of money he's guaranteed for this one fight, that he could have say two or three other circus act fights with past sell by date named opponents who are not as good, big or dangerous as AJ to equal or even better that purse size.

All it takes is an injury while training to get him off the hook. AND he'll still benefit from the HUGE publicity the build-up has generated even if it all does fall through.

He's excellent at getting his brand name out there, that's for sure..

Paul runs away for 3 minutes, AJ lands a few jabs and nothing major. 2nd round AJ lands big and it's over. I do wonder if Paul will try and run away for 9 minutes then he can call out Ngannu

Jake Paul's whole rationale seems to boil down to this:

    1) Ngannou was a stationary, virtually defenseless target, just waiting for AJ to land a massive overhand right on his compliant chin (well, true that...)

    2) By contrast, Paul sees himself as Ruiz 2.0, surprising and dazzling AJ with superior head movement, footwork and hand speed. Look for him to try to land on AJ's temple a la Ruiz.....

If AJ doesn't dispatch this character early and handily, we can forget a 2026 Wembley date; his career will be deservedly over.

It pains me to think that boxing fans could be fooled in this way if the fight is just a staged show and they pay for it, I hope the fight will at least be real...

There is no fight more fitting to sum up AJ”s career than this one. I hope he is up for it and makes quick work of JP.

The only thing that matters about this event is how well the marketing job it's going to be for Fury AJ next year given Fury has his netflix series releasing early next year. It's really just a shame it does sound like they won't fight in summer but end of year...casual's will have tuned out by then they should strike with that HOT iron. Must be them not trying to compete with the world cup...

AJ's a pro, he won't let Jake win by missing weight.

The only way he loses is if it's scripted so I'd imagine the rant would also be scripted.

Jake has the biggest pair of plums of any fighter in history

''But Jake ain't fighting legit boxers. He's fighting MMA fighters, old men, little guys, fighters who are past their prime doe''

Jake say hold that though and then he proceeds to pull up on a savage punching KO 89% 6'6'' 250lb former 2 x three-belt unified champ AJ who is twice his size

Guess which one Jake's plums are the size of?

I could see Jake making an excuse by saying that AJ missed the check weights prior to the official weigh in and claim that he breached the contract as a reason not to go through with the fight.
