serious question though — what’s a guy with no power but a lot of slickness to do? You can’t expect a Haney to fight like Vergil because he’s only got a fraction of Vergil’s power.

Floyd didn't clinch when he was in his 20's. It's not that Haney is fighting a potshotting style (while that isn't my favorite style to watch, I'll happily watch it done well), it's that he is potshotting then tactically clinching.

Watch a young Mayweather who was a potshot expert. When he got backed up he showed amazing defense - the best part of watching him perhaps. What does Haney show? A big ol' hug.

There's also a fear of throwing a right hand from Haney that makes him terrible to watch. Again, watch Floyd land the right hand over and over on everyone.

Honestly super impressed and surprised. Norman seems more polished and similar speed as Ryan Garcia. I thought he would take Haneys head off, but Haney had that right hand glued to his face. Excellent win for Haney.

20's Floyd had power, though. Haney and Shakur just don't.
