Yeah, he’s a small dude even at 115. He looked small Saturday. But the bigger weights are the only ones that will be able to compete with him. And he’s chasing glory.

He’s listed as #4 below Inoue as of now from Ring Magazine.

if i judge solely on level of execution and performance level as a package, he is the best fighter in pro boxing today. p4p #1. but i am realistic in what the criteria is and should be. he lacks the depth in his resume to dethrone bud and usyk at the moment. but that will change in the next year and a half. he is the most dominant champion in boxing and i have him at #4, but will be fight to fight with inoue from here out.
how youve performed counts for a lot in determining who is best in the sport, but not as much as how you are performing today.

In choosing P4P, should we consider how OFTEN they fight and win impressively?

Usyk and Crawford are not fighting very often, while Inoue and Rodriguez are staying busy against the best opponents they can find.

    5. Definitely a good win in Martinez but outside of that it’s decent prime wins and decent old men, and not many of them, either. He’s looked impressive but which of these p4p guys don’t in their second division? Fight the Teraji/Willbaldo winner and then move up, win a title, and up again hopefully.

With Bivol and Beterbiev inactive for the rest of the year, Bam ascends to the fourth slot. Even if you think Junto defeats him in a hypothetical match, I think Bam's fought the better opponents in general.

He's fought the better names not better opponents. Huge difference.

Right now I’d have Bam somewhere around 6–7 P4P. He’s got elite footwork, angles, and composure for his age, plus he keeps stepping up in competition without hesitation. If he keeps unifying or moves up successfully again, top 5 won’t be far off.

Anywhere from 6th to 8th is sensible based on his achievements. But I could see him rising as he builds his resume. He's a top 5 P4P fighter in the making, it's only a matter of time. The skills are obvious, offensively he's a beast with perhaps only Inoue being better in that regard. But I need to see more from him to see how he adapts as he rises through the weight classes, where the competition will get tougher.

Four is fair. Bam keeps stopping his opponents - at super-fly - and just took care of business against a handful in Martinez. Has overcome different styles. Everyone knows his biggest names weren't at their best, but then he picked up the slack by stopping Rung and Estrada.

Sure, Bivol has that big win against Beterbiev, but Artur was officially old, plus it was a close fight.

Eh...I like Akui, Niishida and Santiago just fine, but I think I'd still give the edge to the likes of Edwards, Martinez, and Estrada (or Cafu).

    1. Usyk

    2. Bivol

    3. Inoue

    4. Crawford

    5. Bam (I think he’s better than Crawford just needs a few more big wins to get the ranking)
