Good win by Emma Sue Greentree tonight against an Italian at the World Boxing Cup in India to take the Gold. Following on from an equally impressive win against an Indian in the semi & a medal winning campaign at the World Championships in September. She's physically very strong for the weight & throws straight hard punches. Next stop for her will be the Commonwealth Games selection tournament next year. Fighters who won medals at the World Championships don't have to qualify for the Commonwealth Games selection event by fighting at the national titles which are on in a few days time. Neither do any of our other fighters who participated in the World Cup event. Bronze medals to Marlon Sevehon & Omer Izaz. Honourable mention to Lachlan Lawson.

 

Can someone please tell Lucas Browne to retire, these stoppage losses are not good for his long term health, i know its hard to give it up when a paycheck keeps coming but he doesn't need to cop it anymore & should look after his health

That's tough to watch, he doesn't react that well to shots anymore, 5 years ago he brushes of them shots

 

If he keeps going pretty soon it won't take much more than a stiff breeze to knock Browne over.

 

Trujillo is very handy at knocking people out but Browne is cooked to a crisp and in his own interests, should be retired by whatever means it takes.
