I was always partial to the relaxed style. And 3 welterweights from the same era embodied the relaxed style. That was Harold Weston, Angel Espada and Hedgemon Lewis. I just loved the way they would expend energy when needed but also be content to lay in the weeds and poke around to find that opening.

I'd like to add in myself a recent pick that's been making my eyes water with beautiful violence, Yuri Arbachakov

seriously underrated flyweight and boxer overall, eye test wise imho he's Russia's GOAT.

Floyd Patterson. Always poised, every move designed to set up the next. He just had that quickness, a true middleweight in a field of heavyweights. Grace and power -

Mandela, your mention of Arbachakov reminded me of his contemporary, the Thai Chatchai Sasakul. Such a smooth boxer. I actually had him ahead in both fights with Yuri. I also had him well ahead in his bout with Manny Pacquiao before falling victim to a crashing left haymaker to Manny.

I liked that fluid relaxed Panamanian style like the Jose Legra/ Zapata type boxers.
And alot of Colombian boxers had a very smooth style lie Luis Mendoza and Happy Lora.

Nowhere was that skill more evident than June 1980 in the "Brawl in Montreal." (Duran's magnum opus performance!!)

Always found the St. Paul bait and counter style that Tunney employed against Gibbons to be cool as ****. Joe Gans boxes like the stylistic lovechild of Mayweather and Fitzsimmons, it's impressive how he's able to make that arched back stance work.

Im partial to a few different styles.
When I first got involved with the sport I liked Nortons cross armed style.
Films of the way George Benton fought really impressed me along with James Toney. The way these two could fight in the pocket was great.
Also liked the Kronk style with the low left and the rt rocked.
A few of the styles I really like.

Outside the ring I always liked Frazier’s style. People talk like he was a blue collar sort (which he was) but he was also the snappiest dressed boxer you’d see. The man had an eye (in Joes case literally) for fashion.
