It really was incredible. Rosario was a devastating hitter and landed a lot of good punches which Chavez was seemingly impervious to.

If Meldrick had just stayed away from him for a little longer……it would have been the biggest win of the 90s save for perhaps Douglas-Tyson

Wonder how many times Taylor played that scenario over in his mind?

Like many I´ll go for Rosario.

Edwin had just destroyed Livingstone Bramble who had beaten Mancini twice and manhandled number 1 contender Tyrone Crawley who was coming off impressive wins over undefeated Robin Blake (away from home),+.future light-welter champ Gene Hatcher.

The fight before Bramble Rosario staggered Hector Camacho twice and arguably deserved the decision.

Camacho never was quite the same after.

Chavez was just perfect that night.

    Runner ups:
    K0 8 Mario Martinez
    k0 12 Meldrick Taylor I
    k0 2 Roger Mayweather I
    k0 10 Roger Mayweather II
    W 12 Hector Camacho
    W12 Rocky Lockridge
