I feel like weight in should be at the day of the fight, one hour before

    Declare it no contest. The fight was a mismatch and should never have been made

    Fighter is banned from any sanctioned event for 5 years.

    Do you mean due to health issues? Only because fighters are making weights too low for them. You can make weight comfortably, if you aren't trying to do that, literally 5 mins before the fight.

    There should be two weigh-ins the day of the fight: at about 2 to 3 PM for the undercard, and at about 6 PM for the main events.

    If I fighter cannot make weight, he should be suspended. Anyone struggling to make weight a week before the fight could be replaced - there should always be a couple of fighters in good shape ready to step in.

    5 years is too harsh. I figure If there is a rehydration limit already established that fighters wouldn't be way over the weight. So, they wouldn't have a huge advantage in that area. I'd prefer a fine and of course they lose the belt they are defending or cannot get the belt if they win. Similar to the way it is now.

    There are very good reasons not to do it, and that's why it isn't done like that anymore.
