Usyk targeting Wilder?

    I don't even think Wilder was that much of a draw, so it's a odd fight for Usyk to target.

    No cashout here comparing it to a world title fight agsinst wardley or kabayel .

    True reason is : old usyk might loose against kabayel or wardley and so he prefers to fight a shot wilder without any risk even for low dollars - to put a name on his very thin hw legacy of just 5 opponents .

    Now John, don't worry about me. You need to worry about keeping your son from saying crazy things like he beat Usyk twice.

    Usyk has his eyes set on the forsaken king Bronze Bomber because he missed out on the fun being tied up with belts at cruiserweight and took out joshua only after Wilder got his career ended. People claim that Wilder was a coddled hypejob who barely beat any good fighter besides an aging Ortiz and got beat up by every elite boxer he ever faced but now that Usyk wants to fight him to add his name to his lustrous resume and called him one of the great heavyweights in the last decade that must mean he was actually really good and underrated !

    Usyk may feel that he owes Wilder a fight. If y'all remember, when Fury wouldn't fight Usyk, he said he wanted Wilder instead, then. Wilder actually took this as a sort or promise, and complained that he didn't get the fight. This one has been on the table for a very long time, now.

    Yes, Wilder has dramatically declined...or been exposed...or however you want to say it.

    Yes, there are better guys for Usyk to be fighting, like Wardley, Parker and Kabayel.

    Yes, the primary motivator is of course that he perceives this as a big fight for big money.

    But it is worth noting that there is some genuine unfinished business here.

    I mean, there's unfinished business between Vitali and Lennox Lewis now. Doesn't mean I wanna see it, considering they're both washed.

    Well, at least one of the guys in this scenario is.
