He asks the most stupid questions. His delivery is horrendous, also. I've listened to him ask the same question three times in one go. Some of his 'questions' last about 40 seconds and he's just rambling on, going round in circles, and falling over his own words.
This is the issue with non-mainstream media. You get any average Joe in any sport pick up a camera, headset, mic and start interviewing people and doing podcasts and starting media channels. Some are very good at it and some are terrible. There’s an art to interviewing and generating content that adds value to the fan experience. Football has the same issues with the rise of fan media. Some of the podcasts you see online from club fanbases are comically embarrassing.
The only good and professional boxing interviewer was Danny Flexen, who under strange circumstances has disappeared. "Radio Raheem" looks like a genius compared to McCart but he is also poor. Matt Linehan of Boxing Social is a disaster, and Eammon Khan of Seconds Out is also terrible with his 50 second long rambling 'questions'. None of them are any good except Danny Flexen, and after reading his post on this forum it seems like he's in hiding from the Kinahan lot.
You get what you deserve if you're still watching anything IFL. They peaked about 10 years ago when ''Koogs'' thought he was important enough to argue with Bernd Bonte. They spotted a gap in the market before being left behind by people far better at the job. The oaf cowered from anybody over 9 stone and then threatened to do harm to harmless little Prince Patel. An absolute bullying melt.
So true, also how did Louis Hart get the ring magazine gig? he says ‘i guess’ like 2/3 times whenever he asks every question and stutters whilst doing so.
I forgot he existed because I made a point never to watch one of his interviews ever again and have stuck to it. "Sort of", "kind of", "mate", "I guess"... Horrendous. Kugan Cassius with his "kind of" every sentence probably started it all off. They're all at it, one way or another, except Flexen and he has ostensibly gone into hiding.
They're all pathetic. Lewis Heart, Oscar Beaver, Charlie the idiot. They try and make out they're asking a really nuanced question but all they're doing is padding out their question with absolute waffle. All 3 of them are the same. It's embarassing. Don't get me started on Andrew Mccart. Hi buddy pal, matey, how's things with the family. Fck off.
The funny thing with McCart is that he comes across stoic on his own youtube channel and doesn't crack a smile. He's one of those arse lickers who changes his personality depending on who he's talking to.
