Opetaia recovered quickly. He’s never been put down in his career so there’s no reason to think Cinkara would have done so. Then Opetaia took control of the fight and ultimately nearly killed the guy. I am not sure what else he’s supposed to do.

People can say what they want about the opposition, its so obvious he will fight the same way against any calibre which is pure entertainment.

 

Opetaia nearly got destroyed early, there’s no question about that.

Why is that?

It’s a world level title fight, promoters and trainers of world calibre fighters keep there cards close to their chest.

Its no coincidence that Cinkara was undefeated, underrated with a high ko percentage.

Bravo to Opetaia, he’s an unknown commodity at heavyweight it’ll be interesting to see how he goes.

Opetaia is not as good as people make him out to be, he excels in the cruiserweight division because the competition is weak, he has flaws in his defense and he will get defeated at some point.

 

Far from slept, he recovered and was pushing forward again within 10 secs after they got tangled up. Flush hard shot that looked more dramatic than anything

 

I see you making excuses for getting your upset prediction wrong. Opetaia had some issues but even according to your card he won the majority of the rounds. No this guy wouldn't have beaten Opetaia if he were 10 years younger, that's pure conjecture. There's nothing to suggest that would be the case. What was Cinkara doing 10 years ago? He's a tough guy who peaked late and gave it a good go when he got his shot. Nothing more nothing less. He's nowhere near the same level of fighter as Opetaia is. This isn't a case like Briedis where a former long time elite fighter came up slightly short to the new guard due to age hitting them a bit.
