Not a good night for the ex-Olympians; felt McGrail was comfortable in the first half, then faded as Shabaz came on and almost stopped him.

Five rounds was a bit too wide though.

Good night of boxing and all wrapped up by half 10.

5 fights is all you need when most are well matched.

Yep, got an early start tomorrow so glad of the timing! Decent card though, only skipped one fight.

Johnny Fisher feels he still has something left to prove and that is an area title at best and/or Misfits. It appears nobody around him is telling him the truth.

He’s already hit his ceiling with Dave Allen, and no one around him – family, promoters, or the social-media telemarketers, is going to tell him the truth. They’re either living vicariously through him or have some kind of transactional relationship with him as a bargain. People will still blow smoke up his ass for as long as he’s selling tickets and getting views.

Fisher the new Hughie Fury but not as good. "He's still young". He's 26 and is barely area level if that.

Just caught up on Walker McCormack. What a win for the underdog. Nigel Travis falling on his arse when jumping into the ring is such a Nigel Travis thing to do.

I do feel for Johnny Fisher. Did well to get the win after a shaky fight but I was hoping he'd blast Ivan Balaz out with no trouble.

He's only had one loss (a heavy one) but needs to be matched carefully to try and win the British title.

He reminds me of a throwback heavyweight that just loves to fight. Would have been good in the Michael Sprott, Audley Harrison, Danny Williams, Matt Skelton, Martin Rogan era of British heavyweights. Fisher strikes me as someone that could have won the Prizefighter but then would not have gone on to do so well as a pro. Entertaining, nonetheless.

This was Matchroom's best UK / European card in a very long time.

It's a shame. I feel a little sad when I think about Johnny Fisher. Imagine if Matchroom had been patient and built him up to a 20-0 record. From there they could start matching him a little harder.

Bad matchmaking has ruined Johnny Fisher's career.

I agree mate, really enjoyed it. 5 fights, no big gaps in between, that’s all we want. Start at 6 and you’ll be wrapped up by half 10.

All of those guys would starch Fisher in one round.
