Same here. People on YT are saying Roach should have been given the Nod as well. I had Cruz winning a close but clear fight. I trust my judgment.

Facebook is NOT the metric by which you should be judging your ability to score fights. Facebook is NOT the metric that anyone should use to measure any ability regarding anything for that matter.

 

Adam Azim would beat the shi#t out of Cruz , now that he at 140.

That's what I mean I can't wait till Adam fights these basic guys lol I mean Cruz is a 2D fighter Adam will school him and stop him .. Adam is like 10x faster than these slow head down just hook fighters , they just hook and hope for the best lol

 

I just watched the fight I had it 7-5 Cruz.

Alot of people are saying Roach was robbed on social media but I'm a bit baffled by that TBH.

Cruz clearly won most of the early rounds and then finished strongly.

Yes Roach got back into the fight and had Cruz frustrated in rounds 6-10.

But when Cruz wobbled Roach at the end of round 11 he stole that round and then won the 12th round aswell.

Fosters distance control is CRAZY… hes a top tier defensive fighter but it doesn’t get viewed that way because he’s not flashy about it or always obviously evading blows…. But he has a masterful understanding of range.

I had the pleasure of boxing him years ago, and he was probably the most frustrating person I ever shared a ring with because of this.. When you’re in the pocket missing, or getting blocked, it doesn’t feel too bad because you feel like theres something there… When you miss and the guy seems out of reach yet he’s tagging you, it tends to feel completely hopeless…and I felt like it was a similar thing playing out with Fulton…

The reason I’ve been a fan of him since, is because he could have beat the **** out of me if he wanted to, but he let me work…. And I was swinging for the fences too (its all I could do), so he’d have been somewhat justified if he did.

 

Compubox had Roach outlanding Pitbull from 5 to 11.
He outlanded him in power punches from 5 to 10.
He additionally outlanded him in with categories in round 2.
They were even in rounds 1 and 4, and Cruz outlanded him by 1 punch in the 12th.

Hats off to Roach for going into a hostile environment and outgunning Pitbull without running.

 

Roach outlanded Pitbull in the 11th but he got badly hurt at the end of the round which is the missing context from those stats.

The judges seemed to think Pitbull won the last 2 rounds aswell.

I thought Cruz looked frustrated and beaten in rounds 6-10 but he turned it around in the last 2 rounds.

 

1. No he didn't. He just got hit and traded for a few seconds.
2. Roach rid get a little careless in the last two. Pitbull didn't have the same kind of power as in the first four rounds though.

 

Happened in the very recent UFC main event too. Merab, the champ, got the absolute **** beaten out of him and the commentators were yapping about how close of a fight it was, to the point that I started questioning my own judgement.

 

That moment was enough to sway 2 of the judges so it was a significant and important end to round 11 for Pitbull.

I don't quite agree with some of the scorecards in this thread.

But I also don't agree with people on social media saying Roach got robbed either.

I'd have to watch some of the early rounds again as some people I've seen scored either rounds 2 and 5 for Roach.

But I don't see much issue with the draw honestly it was close.
