I just want to say that I understand how this comment may have come across. It was not meant as an inSINuation of homoSINuality Erectus. I am an honest and humble job-creator trying to reach out to the skilled and honest laborers of this great state of Godscountryvania and we need genuine veteran boxing hands to train the youths of America. Only those who have between 12 and 15 years investment in such an art and science need apply. And men. They have to be men. We're not training people to be women here.

I feel like if you think bridgerweight makes sense you haven’t got a proper grip on the extent of modern weight cutting.

Any “70s size” heavies can easily make cruiserweight. Anyone under 230 can do that on their ear. Look at the amount of weight UFC 205lbers cut.

As it stands, Anthony Joshua could easily make bridger. He could stack on 10lbs of muscle and still make 224. 254 to 224 for a muscle bound guy is a fairly standard cut. 224 is a pointless weight division cos even behemoths can make that weight.

If they call it light cruiserweight it will be super stupid. Then we would have:
    ...
    Middle
    Super middle
    Light heavy
    Light cruiser
    Cruiser
    Bridger
    Heavy

    Light heavy below light cruiser
Maybe they can then create 'very light heavy' somewhere between light and feather, just to make the confusion perfect :dancing:

Do you know how many people interested in boxing already have no idea of the weights? Somtimes it's light then super then noone can sort feather bantam and fly, cruiser between light heavy and heavy, bridger noone knows... Casuals don't even try

As José S. used to say: "good men are hard to find these day's, hard men, so to speak, are even harder".

Millennials like Mauricio call those "champions in recess" like having a backbone or a Big one is recessive when in fact this very era is the backwards interim w/borderlines & covert narcissists wearing fake diamonds and even faker belts.

Oh them olden days. Remember this fella from eons ago? Carl Frock or something like that. Now he was a man. A good, hard man.

There's no point unless every fight under the new weight is commemorated with a gaudy belt of some kind. I want one too, for being such a good fan.
