Maybe AJ wanted no part of a scripted play?

 

I still do not think this fight happens.

If it does go ahead, then it would lower my view of AJ, to take part in some scripted BS would hurt his legacy as a HW boxer.

 

Joshua really trying to build Jake up as credible opponent:
"I heard he fought Mike Tyson in 140z gloves and that he was going to fight Gervonta in 12oz gloves and then he chose to fight me in 10oz gloves so... he wants to hurt me, I think he wants to take me out.

"I understand people's concerns but they have to start believing in Jake. They don't believe because they can't get their head around how he beat those guys. Also a real thriller: Anderson Silva vs Tyron Woodley .

Good thing this extravaganza is free. Because it's worth nearly nothing.

 

OK, at this point, what are the chances the two men meet each other in the ring and hear the first bell?

 

Well, Jake Paul owes them both a favour…

 

Fight is 9 days away. I pray there's no shenanigans to stop this, as there's literally no way Fake Paul wins. Fake shouldn't even get out of the first round unless AJ plays is safe for a round or two.

 

The irony is that this will be the most high profile win of AJ in about 5 years. Exhibition fights are the way forward for AJ from now on.

I see that Jake Paul looks to have a busted nose in his most recent interview. I reckon this will be the excuse he will use the busted nose in sparring as an excuse and say the doctors wouldn't clear him to fight.

 

Well despite the rumours yesterday it is still "going ahead", but a lot of still suspect it is not going ahead.

My guess is that Jake pulls up with an injury 4-5 days prior to the fight, so I would expect the plug to be pulled here around 14/12 or 15/12.
