He was no easier to hit, just had a different view of defense that worked very good against guys like Foreman, btw Rocky punched harder than Frazier and could do that with both hands.

It is not impossible for Rocky to maybe hurt Foreman with punch that KOed Walcott and Joe Louis cold.

 

You're one of my favorite posters and one of the most knowledgeable, but if you were to go in a lab and create a boxer to a annihilate Rocky it's George. Making yourself smaller doesn't work against him. It only makes you more susceptible to his uppercuts. And that's before his pushing, framing, and making you reset. George is all wrong for him.

Motivation and anger doesn't put any more power into a single punch or make a good chin impenetrable tho. Frazier simply couldn't take Foreman's punches whilst Frazier's punches were shrugged off by Foreman with ridiculous ease. Frazier had to swallow his pride and try and stay away from foreman in the rematch, such was the disparity of their ability to take each others punches. If it didn't actually play out people would have scoffed at the thought of Joe going all defensive and careful. Frazier hated Ali in all their matches but only won one.

I can't see a world in which Frazier comes remotely close to beating prime Foreman. Foreman was born to dominate him.

Ferocity doesn’t make Frazier immune from getting lifted off his feet by Foreman’s uppercut which he has zero defense for.

 

If not for the ref, Frazier could have been killed in Jamaica. I don't really understand the notion that will had anything to do with his loss. He kept getting up though barely conscious. There were no problems with his will to win, only with his ability to do so.

 

I agree that Foreman would most likely beat Marciano but it would not be as easy as Frazier, it will be most likely a brawl similar to Cooney Foreman or maybe like Foreman Qawi who knows, but Rocky had the power that Frazier did not have, and it was two fisted power, so I think that Rocky would be a tougher fight for Foreman tho he would still beat Rocky.

For evey pushing Foreman would do, Rocky would swing at his hands so Foreman would not be able to push Rocky around plus Rocky was stronger guy than Frazier and Chuvalo, so I think he do better than them, how better it depends.
