I don't know mate. Anyone who has been training boxing for 5 years or more if they are fit can look good on a heavy bag. The guy still sucks.

Lets see the sparring footage. Bag and mitt work don't mean a lot.

I don't care what anyone says, if this Jake Paul character gets in the ring with Anthony Johsua on Friday and makes even a rudimentary effort to fight, i tip my hat to him. He'll be showing huge balls of steel, if he does.

It will put most of the 'real boxer contenders' (including AJ foremost) to shame.

Jake Paul not only risking his health, he'd be risking a large part of his brand (because I suspect a lot of his 'fans' believe he's better than he is and expect him to win). He's not some Hungarian journeyman. He might be getting paid $100 million or whatever (might be more, might be a lot less) but he's potentially destroy his chances of future easier similar pay-days in his own boxing circuit (due to damaged health and/or a pathetic performance). Risking getting his neck snapped too.

No one here can actually believe this could possibly be a 'real fight' and i don't blame them.

    Either Jake pulls out

    Or

AJ stops him via body shots. There's probably some understanding he won't send him into a coma. Probably pop some jabs some lighter set up punches and a body shot finish.

I was thinking AJ might take a dive but his ego is too big and now we've got confirmation the Saudis are preparing for the Fury fight. 0 chance Saudi money involved means AJ is pulling some WWE ****. This will be a showcase if it happens but body shot KO. Will go viral with Jake's popularity to get more eyes on AJ as they start promoting Fury fight but Jake won't lose much stock and people will praise his toughness and balls.

AJ might make an “ethical” decision in his own mind. If he unloads on Jake the way he did on Ngannou, who was about 270 lbs of pure muscle, that is a very different situation than fighting Jake who's a 200 lbs man, probably with another 20 lbs of rushed on fluff weight added just to face AJ.

There is a real risk he could seriously hurt a much smaller, far less experienced fighter, and that would not do AJ’s brand any favors.

So it is possible he does just enough to stop Jake without completely destroying him. Hearns is saying AJ will destroy him quick though.

If Jake Paul somehow manages to pull this Christmas miracle off, I think I might have to start taking him seriously as a boxer....

He's definitely had a much better career at this point than Tommy Fury who has become a laughing

Too much money involved - it won't be cancelled except in the situation of a very serious injury.

There are people in this forum who wouldn't pull out from fighting AJ if they were promised $90 million to do so.
