Sadly, I have this bad feeling that the circus is in town for the foreseeable:
Joshua v Paul might just be the warm up.

Usyk v Wilder - to semi-rehabilitate Wilder's image just enough in a losing effort.
Joshua v Fury - winner is gifted the third fight against Usyk, loser fights Wilder.

Massive pay days once again for the old guard, and the Heavyweight division further stagnates.

It'll be big. And I'll definitely watch it, though it's obviously a few years too late. Reminds me a bit of Brook v Khan in that respect.
I do think they should just get on with it though. We've seen what happens before when fighters take a 'warm up ' first and then blow it. Best just to crack on IMO.

    Both men diminished.

I think Fury still out-boxes and probably stops AJ. But it's hard to tell what either man has left.

    Easy work for Fury

Only thing that will stop it happening is if Usyk wants to fight Fury for a trilogy instead...

Yes, but they have nothing to lose and all to gain at this point. Both now have losses on the record, neither hold a belt, but probably nearly as much money as ever on the table...

I feel like if it doesn't happen it'll be due solely to Tyson and his ego, as if he loses he can't ever really say he was best British HW of the past decade.

This fight should have happened a few years ago. In my opinion if Fury shows up in good condition (physically and mentally) he'll win wide to the points or by stoppage. The Joshua I saw against Dubois, for me, is a fighter who should have retired.

Fury needs to finally stay away from Boxing. That guy is just annoying with his constant comebacks
    and Joshua should also retire.

Will the fight happen? Probably, but I'm not watching.

Hearn has heaped fake, lavish praise on Fury knowing he needs Fury to help him make big money with a Joshua fight :

“He’s inspiring me with his training! I look at it, I go, ‘good on you’. We’ve had a lot to say over the years, but I love the fact that he’s back in boxing. I think he’s an incredible fighter. I think he’s brilliant for the game. And he can be involved in some huge fights. And by the way, he’s still in his prime. He lost two very close fights to Oleksandr Usyk. It’s not like, ‘oh, he’s finished now.’”

Hearn could have just condensed that down to 'We can make huge money fighting Fury. So we need him back.' Instead he offends our intelligence with that insincere b.s.

Look on the bright side, a banana peel could come in BOTH tune-ups, and then the fight still makes sense.
