If Paul makes it past round two, that would be definite proof of behind-the-scenes shenanigans.

 

I can definitely see AJ making a show of it and letting it go on a few rounds.

He knows what his paymasters expect.

 

Jake Paul is an unknown commodity at heavyweight.

 

Of course Joshua should walk this.

The only way Jake wins this is if Joshua panics in the ring.

If Joshua is in full mental midget mode, and Jake throws the kitchen sink at him, then it'll be interesting.

 

I want a Chin Shattering that makes what Gerry Cooney did to Ken Norton look like child's play. I want as savage a KO as humanly possible.

 

Jake Paul's fights aren't scripted. He wins fair and square against his hand picked geriatric MMA fighters.

If you were going to fake it you'd at least pick some moderately credible journeymen.

Hard to believe this is not a show fight.

 

People are making a lot of excuses for a potentially poor performance by Joshua when they say "if it lasts more than ________, it must be scripted".

If it looks scripted, and the script makes some sense, I'll call it scripted.
But if Joshua just struggles to nail him, I might just call it a crap performance from Joshua, who isn't even a legit heavyweight contender these days, if we're honest.

 

I will put $2 on Paul win or draw highly likely fake

 

If this fight is real, Joshua having boxed for like 20 years now will know how to get paul out of there without one-shotting him into oblivion.
He certainly doesn't want to face global criticizm for irreversibly hurting a way weaker fighter that is massively popular, too. Bad for the wallet and the image. Imagine how people would react to him at the next cocktailparty or whatever he does in his free time.
And everything other than surprising monster shots gives paul the chance to take a knee and get out of there. He has enough high class sparring to get manage that.

So if legit, Joshua will just slowly and increasingly batter paul from a solid guard until he gives up.

If not legit, anything is possible.

 

Jake Paul has been getting beat up by Okolie in sparring (at least, I assume Okolie is the one doing that to him based on the interview I saw with Okolie). He sort of knows what he's in for now.
