My guilty pleasure fighter tended to be a less talented guy who got by on having a well balanced style without the gift of super speed or power but just seemed to do everything well. That would be a Carlos Molina type who won the IBF at 154 and beat some big names like Cory Spinks

Typically though I like a guy who knocks people out

 

Amir Khan cause he always could get ko'd brutally at any point.
On the opposite side of that, Wilder.

 

Provodnikov fights were awesome.

 

Provodnikov had a pretty good run going

We went and saw him against Chris Algieri and couldn't believe how Chris survived after such a disastrous first round and eye swelling. When he destroyed Mike Alvarado I thought it was the beginning of something more lasting.

 

Kovalev even tho he’s just a bad human being

 

Feels weird to say but I'll sometimes rewatch some of Edwin Valero's fights every now and then even though I acknowledge how despicable a human being he really was. But dammit he was a fun ruthless fighter to watch.

 

My guilty pleasure when it comes to boxing isnt actually in the ring, its the ring entrances Damn theres been some cold ones over the years.

Rolly, Ryan Garcia, Wilder, Khan, Katsidis.

All had various levels of flaws (and feels bad putting Khan with the rest of these, he’s a much better fighter than all of them, but the general view of him makes enjoying him feel like a guilty pleasure..)..

But damn these guys are all entertaining in that ring.

 

I like to watch Khan get knocked out from time to time, I must admit
