I hope not. I guess there's a chance that its scripted, but in a legit fight AJ should destroy him. I mean AJ is a name in boxing, and he's rich himself. I can't see that there's enough money floating around to make him embarrass himself in the ring for the world to see. Or maybe I ought to say: I hope that this is the case.

 

I’d like to see Jake try to have a “staged event” with Dempsey considering how hard it was for Jack to find his off switch while in the ring. Didn’t he starch Douglas Fairbanks in sparring once?

1) Fury is a well known slacker
2) Ngannou is an actual fighter with actual and well documented world class power
3) Ngannou is 6'4 and 260lb

...

4) AJ is a gym rat
5) Logan is not an actual fighter and he has middling power at best
6) Logan is smaller than me ... good luck with AJ pal

 

Again, if Paul lasts the 8 rounds, this was a fix.

I tend to agree. I don't see how this clown would go the distance in a legit bout. He's a low level journeyman at best. AJ ought to rip his ******* out.

 

Tyson Fury's third cousin, a full time model and some time, not very often, boxer, beat him. And I think that even he had the cuffs on.

 

I thought for sure it was going to be staged, but Jake Paul just did his best Tommy Morrison impression and ran for as long as he could, then got knocked out in the sixth.

It's pretty embarrassing how long Paul lasted, but Joshua seemed to be holding back a bit. My impression is it was quasi-staged kind of like Johnson-Ketchell, but the knockout was quite real.

Joshua had the cuffs on. I've seen him fight harder in sparring.
