When Tank was dropped/dropped out, every other name in Boxing threw their hat in the ring to replace him. Jake could have picked an easier opponent like pretty much all his prior fights to this one.

I don't think Joshua looked bad, he was just sticking to his gameplan and trying to be defensively sound. Jake just came to run, but man he's tough. Doesn't help Joshua's rep, but I doubt anybody will look good against someone just looking to survive.

 

It'll be exactly the same when he fights Canelo inevitably.
