Credit ? He got paid 70 million for running away and flopping to the floor for the entire fight in a fight that was clearly fixed.

Who in the world is supporting Joshua ? I think everyone can see it was a total farce and I don't think anyone came out looking better after this clown show.

I'm flabbergasted at the amount of people (in a boxing forum of all places) that think this was serious. A stoppage was scripted as well. They just had to find the best way to finesse it in a world of super HD replays.

Paul is banking on enough people being silly enough to buy some of this so he can come back down the track and take them down for more millions. Money talks, even a guy as rich as Joshua put aside most of his pride and played traitor to real boxing.

I had Paul winning every single minute of every round and I thought the ref stopped it far to early.

Careful, there's a lot of people in this thread taking this from semi seriously to fully seriously.

 

The guy ran, he stopped running cause he got tired, got chinned. Thats literally the way it went. Theres nothing to break down. Literally the minute he stopped being able to run and had to take shots he folded like a deck chair. If the game plan was to last as long as possible with dropping to the knees, back pedalling, all these stalling tactics to create a lack of engagement, he did great.

The only thing i take from this fight is Anthony Joshua still has a good level of athleticism left in the tank to be able to give us some good match ups back over in the real world of boxing.

I expect AJ to have a fight in Feb before Fury in the summer/september time.

Jake Paul did about as well as some top 10 light-heavies or top 20 cruisers would hope to do, against a "top 20" 243 pound heavyweight. He did better than some might do. If his stamina was improved he could be competitive against some good fighters at his own size.

Some don't want to give him credit, because the narrative of "YouTuber needs to be put out of boxing" is too strong.
They can't accept that maybe he's got balls, and these 'fights' are at least 'on the level' as much as most things in boxing, whatever that is.
