Are you still interested in Joshua-Fury?

He has plenty to lose. Everyone thinks joshua is done but they have no idea where Fury is after his fights with Usyk. Imagine being seen as the second best heavyweight in this generation, an all time great talent who unfortunately came across a goat in Usyk; all of that... only to lose to a shot joshua who got trashed by Dubois and failed to blow away a cruiserweight youtuber, the same youtuber that lost to your younger brother. Yeah I'd be over for Fury, he should target Usyk trilogy after Usyk smokes Wilder

 

fury looked his supposed best against wlad and wilder. the wlad fight dont even deserve to be called a fight. they sniffed each other for 12 rds. then you got wilder, who never beat anyone people will have heard about in 20 yrs. for good reason. if those are the high points of your career, how good are you really? what exactly did you do in those fights that compares with the greats, that you couldnt match in the rest of your fights? fact is, fury has never been that good. and i would say that if i had just woken up from a 15 yr coma and they showed me tape of his fights.

I think what you mean is that Fury completely outboxed the man that had been dominating heavyweight for 10 years.

Then returned after his addiction issues and stepped in with one of the most feared fighters that AJ had been trying to avoid and schooled him.

And let’s not forget that Fury was actually at least competitive against Usyk, a lot more than AJ or Dubois were.

 

Yeah, I'm still up for it.

Both are near the finishing line career-wise at real world level, but I tend to always think better late than never.


And depending on dynamics and result, if it actually happens, there could easily be one or even more re-matches.


It'll still fill any stadium and be a HUGE buzz topic, before, during and after the bout..



Actually picking the winner with any certainty could be the hardest thing for me right now, at this moment in time. That could change if both have interim bouts.

I think it would have been much more interesting if it had been held a few years ago. I'll definitely watch it, but I think the outcome is pretty predictable, unless Fury shows up in dire shape (like against Ngannou).

 

Out cuddled and out stank? Yes, though completely is pushing it.

It was an absolutely awful title fight and a stain on the sport (not that Wlad was ever above those).

Coming back from the state he was in was impressive.

Beating an overhyped fraud whilst still rusty and unfit (and getting robbed for his troubles) was impressive...

Regardless of Wilder openly and avoiding anyone with a pulse, including Joshua (which even Wilder has admitted, so I'm not sure why it's so difficult for his fans to understand), Fury still deserves credit for beating him whilst in that condition.

Then showing, in the second bout, that he could get his fitness better, try out a new and alien (to him) style was impressive... Annihilating his fraudulent opponent showed a lot about how good Wilder wasn't, but Fury deserves some credit for that regardless.

Fury was somewhat competitive against Usyk - he was miles away from winning, but he did pretty well.
Joshua's performance wasn't too far off Fury's in that sense.

Dubois wasn't anywhere near either of them.

At this point Fury definitely needs a fat camp fight. Can't imagine he's anywhere close to fighting shape.
