A very fair assessment on what happened:

Can't stand Joshua he's a weirdo but I'm glad he blitzed Paul & Ngannou .. their egos are terrible.. lets get Wardley Dubois & Fury Joshua & stop all this nonsense now

You were 100% spot on. The absolute worst thing for boxing would have been if Paul had to be carried from the ring on a stretcher. The next worst thing would have been Joshua losing. Boxers are humans, not animals. There are a few exceptions but most want to win, not permanently harm their opponents.

You saw the size of that ring yeah?

It was all set out for him to run

Paul has experience all be it limited, it's enough to give him an idea of how to move around a ring

He does it in every fight he has had

Like I say, growing up around the Peacock Gym I heard many a top coach say how difficult it is to beat such tactics and I've seen first head coaches turn down such boxers for sparring

Job was always gonna get done but the combination of Paul running and AJ looking sluggish just delayed the inevitable

Same ring size as Canelo Billy. Similar result.

    Hmm not sure about that

Some had Saunders ahead at the time of the stoppage

AJ is supposed to be one of the better boxers of his era yeah? Professional team with a gameplan and all?

They knew the size of the ring. AJ struggled where he clearly shouldn't have. He looked stiff, struggled to land clean punches against what is arguably still a novice/armature level fighter. It was an embarrassing performance from a top heavyweight, especially when you consider his last two wins were against non-boxers. Hell, even Wilder fought a boxer last time out and looked better than AJ did.

If this was Fury he'd be burned at the stake. Why people are still trying to bend over backwards to defend and make excuses for AJ is beyond me. Took 15 months to come up with this sham of a fight.

Some had Jake ahead of AJ. Logan had AJ losing the first 4. :qmeparto:

    I don't think I'm defending him
I clearly said he was sluggish

My point is and was he was made to look worse by design

Unless he won by Ko in a round he was always gonna get criticism
