Why can’t people here be objective about Ward at all? You’d think the man was a violent criminal. He was a bit dirty, I’ll admit, but this place worships Duran, Hopkins, Tyson, and others who were just as dirty as him.

I didn’t even see the Ward Kovalev fight for years..

Ward’s stock took a huge dumpster dive so he retired.

    That’s smart.

He also would have had a very tough time against several of the top 5 at 175 at the time….and yeah, Kovalev beat him the first time…

How was he not supposed to beat the other SMW? What is better about his resume? I've already mentioned that none of the stats (fights, title defenses, etc.) are better. You think since he beat Kovalev, Abraham and Kessler he has the best resume over Marciano, Calzaghe, Crawford and Lopez. Are you related to him or something?

I think him knocking out Joe Louis at 75 years old had something to do with it

They have been like this nearly the entire time he was a somebody. It's genuinely insane.

Marciano probably has the best resume out of everyone listed, but Ward absolutely has a better resume than the rest, and he was never the favorite going into the Super Six.
