Not a guilty pleasure as such but I really enjoyed watching, and occasionally rewatching, the avanesyan vs kelly fight, for me it’s a pleasure to watch a hype train derailed, although I have to say nothing against Kelly and I do quite like watching him these days, it’s just that these type of fighters need that humbling and I love to see it!

If you are into your ringwalks, Lauren Price vs Macaskill was quality.

I see quite a few action orientated fighters, maybe with limited skills but often with great heart and power, listed here. To watch them certainly was a pleasure but I would never feel an iota of guilt about it; boxing would be a shadow of itself without these fighters.

As for personal "guilty pleasures", I would take that to mean fighters who I disliked but in a way enjoyed watching. I think Rigo fits that remit; he was immensely skilled and you couldn't help but marvel at his surgical precision, but I would pretty much always root against him due to his negativity. Wilder was another one I disliked but I always tuned in; during the time of around Ortiz II, it was almost comical how he could get outboxed by often cherrypicked opponents, but he always somehow turned it around with that ludicrous power of his. Josh Warrington I dislike due to his dirtiness (predominately his billy goat style), but he always brought the action and I always tuned in; at a much higher level Holyfield was the same. Luis Nery is a cheating SOB, and I took great pleasure in watching Inoue beat him senseless; however I have to concede he is entertaining to watch.

Gatti yes, never a huge Barrera fan, more of a Morales guy.

    But, to name a few...

    Robert Guerrero
    John Molina
    Orlando Salido
    Mickey Roman
    Takashi Miura
    Giovani Segura
    Hernan Marquez
    Rocky Juarez
    Ray Mancini
    Hozumi Hasegawa

He would maul anyone and take them out of their comfort zone and it was quite enjoyable to watch from a lack of elite talent standpoint

    Micky Ward.

Heart, guts and an unhealthy obsession with destroying a mans liver.

I don’t really enjoy watching many run off the mill blood and guts brawler types. With exceptions I’d rather watch highly skilled all round fighters or defensive wizards.

Butterbean, Pride freakshow crossover MMA fights, Vachyslav Datsik, senior circuit geriatric boxing. All need to stay in their lane though. There's always been a place for the carnival freaks to do their thing, just don't pollute or dilute the sport. Stay in the dark recesses where you belong.

Derek Chisora has always come across as a piece of **** and bully outside of the ring.

But I can't lie, all his fights were must watch for me. He's been in so many exciting fights. He's a warrior in the ring, shame he's such a dickhead outside of it.
