Would Norton have beaten Wladimir Klitschko?

Highly unlikely.

 

Ken fought in the 15 round era, it made sense to be lighter to go the distance. Had it been 12 rounds, he likely would have come in heavier. Officially beat Ali once, it's a fair shout he actually beat him twice (1 + 3). Mainly lost to massive punchers, Foreman and Shavers being at least top 5 hardest hitting ever. Unconventional style with his guard and dragging his rear leg, but a fantastic athlete. A better boxer than AJ, was prepared to take a shot to give one for the most part, and better recovery than AJ. He lost his desire after the result of the third Ali fight and just fought for money after that - perhaps a bit like current AJ but for different reasons.
Pre-Ali 3 Ken beats any version of AJ in my opinion.

 

Norton is much better, but he’s also much better than Cooney, but stylistically some fights are terrible for Norton.

Really depends on opponent. I think Norton would give some guys that AJ would struggle with real problems -- like Usyk. But AJ would blast out some guys who would give Norton real problems -- like Shavers.

 

Joshua is too powerful and big for Norton. And Nortons chin was terrible. He'd bomb him out.

People like to forget how beastly Joshua was in his confident, unbeaten, fully attack minded, prime years coming up.
