Is the Nakatani fight with Inoue even interesting? Many on here seem to think Hernandez won. Fluke? Still a decent opponent for Inoue?

Yea I don't understand this either, if you want two guys to fight each other have them fight each other. If it's a banger you can have a rematch. But this setup fight before the fight always seems like a risky proposition to me for no reason.

 

Even in fights that’s very one sided and dominant but devoid of a knockdown or stoppage Inoue is mesmerizing to watch. Very elite level skills. Like another day at the office for him.

There were a couple times where Inoue looked like he had Picasso hurt and he followed up a fair few times when that happened, but for the most part it just looked like he was in cruise control. The power is definitely still there, but I might be worried about him being overly cautious to counteract him getting dropped twice for being reckless. It’s good to see Inoue fight disciplined, but he absolutely could’ve gone through the gears and gotten Picasso out of there, who admittedly put up a decent effort and showed a lot of grit but kinda shelled up for most of the fight. It just feels weird to see Inoue get two back-to-back decision victories.

 

Many here seem to not realize that Inoue fights absolutely nothing like Hernandez. It would be a very, very different fight.
Inoue is clearly a level above Nakatani, dont get me wrong, but I find the clash of styles fascinating. How will Inoue deal with Nakatani´s footwork and range?
I definitely want to see it.

I want see Rodriguez fight Nakatani first since there’s only 3 pounds between them at the moment

 

I think if Inoue could have gotten Picasso out of there, he would have got him out of there.

 

Nakatani just fought at 122, he vacated his Bantamweight titles.

 

Inoue has been shopping at the filo/brit/ aussie isle of opponents soft opps.Picasso is not the best Mexican boxer to lace em up! Did well considering.THE POWER.He just don’t hit hard enough to damage Inoue.That is always my keys to victory to beat monster.Naoya best win is a faded Donaire.

 

He is not fighting glass jaw opps picasso took most of the shot well where it would fold boxers like Jamie Buttler, Paul Macdonell and Jason Moloney.I just think he is fighting tougher oppenents that are durable but not the best in terms of Picaso not the best Mexico produced.
