Abdullo Nasibjon Qochkarov is a late sub for Andranik Khachikovich Grigoryan.

 

This is LilButt's redemption (albeit on several hours' delay) for sleeping through Inoue vs. Picasso this morning.

Very ugly opener...lots of clinching. Soilybayev kept loading up home run swings on the body; Qochkarov smothered him pretty effectively and winged in some grazing right hooks up top, however.

 

Soily Boy crowding the southpaw into the Uzbek southpaw into the ropes in R2, getting poked with left hand leads and swatted at the hairline with light right hooks as Qochkarov flurries off the ropes. Sustained pressure by the Kazakh, who is starting to get some of those body digs turned over with authority now. Qochkarov jumps off the ropes and ties up after getting hit downstairs. Right upper-hook by Qochkarov. Straight combo from Soilybayev. HEAVY underhanded rights below the ribcage by Soilybayev have Qochkarov hurt just before the bell.

Ali Akhmedov has been pissing me off lately. Let's see if he can steady the ship (especially as I've heard he may be in the running for Gennadiy Golovkin's farewell fight in Kazakhstan)

 

Round 1

Akhmedov is watching from afar while Miledzi launches some very clumsy noodle-armed right hands up top. Lots of posing and staring. A trickle of jabs and feints by Akhmedov. Miledzi gets driven into a corner by a double jab and then nailed with an overhand right by Akhmedov. Miledzi keeps pawing with that slow and gangly lead right - not sure if that's meant to be counterbait or a legitimate punch attempt. It's awful looking, whatever it's supposed to be.
