Great to see these two finally meeting and putting aside their bitterness towards each other. Was also surprising to see Froch finally accepting his defeat to Ward.

Pretty respectful talk between the two! I just wish Carl would’ve brought up all that back acne ward had in the 2nd Kovalev fight :) Also if the blatant low blows were in the game plan or just a spur of the moment adjustment when he realized staying within the rules wasn’t going to bring him a win. Would be interested to hear his answer!

Froch is definitely a class act. Always a really enjoyable chat when Cobra’s involved. And he was always a highly entertaining fighter with a massive heart. Definitely two polar opposites!

Froch was a total ass hole before he turned into a podcaster though.

He even now can be a bit dry.

Give him 80,000 fans and he loobs up a bit...

Haha, yeah. I actually like him a lot these days, but its hard call him a class act when the memory of an arrogant, jealous, sore loser is burnt into my head… although I do think he comes off awesome nowadays. always loved him in the ring and his willingness to fight the best too, a straight DAWG!

Froch as a fighter would travel anywhere and fight anybody to get the big fights and always gave his all, nobody can take that away from him. Froch for a time did seem a bit marmite but he has chilled out a lot in recent years and actually is one of the best boxing podcasters to listen too,he still likes to drop in things about himself but so would I do if I had,had the career he did. Froch is also one of the top tier wind up merchants in the game and sometimes you miss his barbs the first time around but he always gets them in when he can lol. This little snippet between Froch and Bellew :D

And as an obvious aside, don't the both of them look in the picture of health.

It would've been nice if Ward had admitted the obvious about the headbutts against Kessler.

He's been humbled. He was burning too many bridges.

Froch has alot of self confidence issues and is always looking for validation about himself and has always come across as a mental midget.

Apparently he was only 5ft3 as a 16/17 year old and then had a huge growth spurt and then started boxing. I'm guessing he was bullied at that age and it affected him mentally somehow. His dad is Polish too.....probably ate a few slaps and belts too growing up

He can dine out forever on that "80,000 at Wembley" though.

But it's nice to see him slowly become humble and accept reality.

In terms of rewatchable fights, it's The Cobra and it's not even close.
Not taking anything away from what Ward accomplished, it's just that as a boxing fan, I prefer entertaining fights.
