It will be but won't be Wardley. UD AJ then will lose another close decision to Usyk which will be curtain call for all three men...but Fury will step down his competition maybe and continue just to keep fighting.

I'm not absolutely sure Fury beats Makhmudov at this point

I think you're overrating Wardley a bit here. Fury will have both the height and reach advantage and isn't stupid enough to get into a war with him like Parker did (and even then, dodgy stoppage).

If both prime Wilder and Usyk couldn't knock Fury out I don't see how a far less skill Wardley does it unless he doesn't train.

I'm thinking Fury's simply burnt his candle at both ends way too frequently throughout his career. This is all gonna bite him on his arse sometime very soon. I'm thinking he's now already on borrowed time at best.

He's had yet another year out in his latest retirement, he's another year older, he looks crap in his latest video training clip and I'm not sure anyway how much he really wants to continue to 'get paid for punching people in the face'

I'm saying 2026 is his very last year in the game with this half hearted retirement reversal.

A 'b flat' swansong for Fury.
