get rid of them due to them being the second and third rank contenders.

Sure, i am happy for Wardley and Kabayel to fight each other as long as its for the 3 belts Usyk has. How about Usyk relinquishes his belts and Wardley and Kabayel fight for those belts?

Yes. He lost to Jalolov in the semi-finals in 2024.

I don't know why they have him in with an old fat short opponent.

Are they mandatories? I know you’re a big Kabayel fan girl, I’ve caught you simping over the man multiple times. I hope he gets sparked out today.

Hey, I was a Kabayel fangirl from way back, even picked him to beat Chisora. Then picked him to upset Makh, Sanchez and Zhang. Agit is Legit.:deal: ...and the most deserving opponent for Usyk, far more deserving than Parker or Wardley and that overhyped mush brained mong Itauma. I don't have a problem with Usyk fighting Wilder as a voluntary, he's cleaning out that era. Wilder may suck now, but doesn't suck any worse than the Khan or Brook that fought Crawford, or Turdlanga or Scull that fought Canelo quite frankly. But Agit is the real deal and earned him shot, so Usyk if he remains active, needs to eventually fight him.

Usyk isn't scared of Agit, and Usyk isn't scared of boxing punchers. While I rate Agit the second best active Heavyweight. Usyk still boxes his ears off and possibly stops him late. It might look like the Chisora match, and not impress his haters. But a win is a win.

If Kabayel is his mandatory sure. Usyk doesn’t need to go out his way to fight a nobody for a small payday because he beat an obese 45 year old Chinese guy though.

I like his style, he's good to watch.

But I don't want him to think he can get away with going stale again, himself - fighting opponents this unproven rather than more significant opponents isn't cool.

And it's not like he was looking for a serious fight - this being a replacement for Hysa tells you quite definitively that he wasn't.

I'm not a hater by any means, but this is mega disappointing for a guy who doesn't fight often enough as it is.

As much as anyone active who hasn't already had a go? Pretty much.

For me, though, taking his foot off the gas like this is very poor form - especially if he takes another soft touch after this.

There comes a point where hiding with soft touches ought to lose you standing...

Nobody in the top 10 wanted to fight him? Unlikely, but vaguely plausible, in extreme cases.
Nobody top 20? Sounds very unlikely.
Nobody top 30? It's getting silly now.

The idea he couldn't have got quite a bit better fight made than this just isn't convincing whatsoever - especially when he'd targeted another nobody beforehand.

He earned it far more than Parker did based off of his effort. Who everyone was crying their eyes out over being robbed of his shot. Think about it, Parker fought a safety first scared shitless fight against a mentally frail Wilder, then goes on to get his **** knocked loose by two glancing blows from Zhang, and then spends the rest of that match repeating his feat against Wilder. Then landed a temple shot off of a fat man who was jet lagged, who'd just hopped off his couch the night before. Zhang goes on to without fear, unlike Parker, walked down and violently knock Wilder the **** out. Then to outman Parker and Zhang, Agit WALKS DOWN Zhang, like a beast, takes the fight to him, walks through bombs doing it, and stopped him for the first time in his pro-career. Just based on the size of his testicles alone, Agit has earned it.
