Unless I’m picking you up wrong…What part of he’s defending his belts slipped past?

    Opetaia is absolutely exceptional.

Why do you have to drag fighters down all the time? Opetaia is one of the very best fighters out there, at any weight class.

Plus he actually fights, has never ducked anyone and puts on a show every time he laces up. If he wasn’t exceptional why is literally every other top CW ducking him?

The guy is a star and should be celebrated. But people like you just can’t help yourselves.

I mean, you aren't entirely wrong, but Jai is 30. The time for big fights is now.

But I get what you are saying.

    Show me then!
What’s reported and what’s in the contract is 2 completely different things. Plus, Ngannou made a lot more than his base pay of $600k because of ppv points and bonuses, he made a few million each for his last couple of fights in the UFC.

The only fool here is you that can’t back up anything you say. I might sound aggressive but that’s because I’m so tired of the agenda that some promoters (like Dana) is bad for the sport when it’s far from the truth.

I’m probably the only guy here that was a high level fighter and actually has fought for Dana/Zuffa, I been on the undercard of MMA/boxing as well as the main event. Zuffa was by far the most professional I fought for and paid me what I was contracted on time!

Have your personal view on Zuffa/Dana but I can promise you that it’s not as bad as you think.

You don’t have to believe me, after all I’m just a guy on a Internet forum but just remember, you will always be wrong and I will always be right ;)

You are a guy on the internet. You may or may not be a fighter. It has no bearing on the fact that MMA fighters get into boxing TO BE PAID MORE MONEY. You are in denial about this, and nobody cares.

If you are a fighter of any kind, good luck to you.

Someone like Dubois pre Usyk 2 would absolutely smash Jai.

Yes but you have to understand, it’s only a few fighters that can ask for those money fights and it’s only a few boxers that get that big payday. The lower level/undercard fighters are better taken care of by UFC/Zuffa.

My last fight was 10 yrs ago but thanks, good luck to you to learn how the fight world works.

I imagine the other orgs will drop him if he plans on fighting for the Zuffa belt or w/e it's called. If I was them I wouldn't be encouraging the competition.

If he was making so much in the UFC he wouldn't have left for boxing.

Do I also have to show you that the sky is blue?

Big difference in boxing and ufc.

UFC is the business that people tune in for, the fighters work on a wage for the business.

in boxing, the fighter is the business and fans tune into wherever your fighter is on. The fighter employs a manager and staff to take care of his business and negotiate his deals on shows.

Good job changing the bar. We were talking about Dana lowballing fighters, and you interrupted and wrote your nonsense, claiming that "no one was complaining," when we gave you examples that they were, and now you are going to pretend that its about undercard guys.

Yes, we are having a conversation about TOP TALENT. If you didn't get that, now you know.
