Hrgovic vs. Kabayel, could Hrgovic last all the rounds?

I think Hrgovic could win the first three rounds until his stamina fails him and he has a mental crisis, after that Kabayel hits cleanly to the body, opens up Hrgovic's cut, Kabayel probably wins by late TKO

Kabayel very likely wins, I don't see Hrgovic winning enough rounds before he gasses - regardless of whether he sees the enf... And he hasn't really got the power to walk through Kabayel's punches and try to stop him.

Hrgovic could look okay early on, but I see a classic gatekeeper-contender fight - looks fairly competitive to begin with but winds up being clear and decisive.

I don't see that Hrgovic has the tools to win even if he could see the final bell - he's not a terrible boxer, but his stamina limits him on cards and his power doesn't have the impact to stop top level guys.

I think Hrgovic can take Wardley but not Kabayel

While I would love to see that fight, I really don't think Warren will make such a dangerous fight for Wardley's first defence. Of all the opponents in the WBO top 10, Hrgovic might be the worst one for Wardley.

Strong chin, and a patient fighter with power of this own, with enough of a gas tank to go the full 12. No way they would be able to give Wardley a border-line early stoppage three fights in a row.

It would be an interesting match in my opinion. And yes, I think there could be a Hrgovic who starts the match better and wins the first rounds and then the bodywork of Kabayel and the decline of the Croatian lead to a victory by stoppage of Kabayel.

Hrgovic sleepwalks to a unanimous decision loss.

Hrgovic’s lack of gears cost him. One dimensional fighter who seems happy to just do enough, and if not then it’s ‘oh well’.

dont think Hrgovic would survive 12 rounds of those body shots. at the very least Hrgovic gets stopped on cuts.

Kabayel would be too much for Hrgovic

Actuallly i believe Hrgy bear can very well win, if he his mind is ok and trained for the fight like he did in his last fight.

Kabayel got lit up by a man that has no pop like the way Hrgovic can. The biggest enemy for Hrgovic is his mental state and his engine. But if he traines well and is mentally focused het can do 1,2 's for 3/4 of the fight wich does more damage then Knyba could. Knyba showed that kabayel is very hittable by straight jabs. If anythg kabayal won't put him down with headshots Hrgovic jaw is to solid (upto now that is). Also Knyba couldn't stop him coming forward and i thk Hrgovic possibly can he is bigger and stronger then Knyba.

That being said i thk it will be a close fight. almost 50 -50 in my opinion.

I hope we see this fight very soon

Hrgovic gasses out in about five rounds just from throwing one twos, could you imagine how badly he'd gas with a relentless body attack thrown in for good measure? Agit grinds him down and stops him at 9.

I’m still not too sure about Kabayel durability. In his last fight he took plenty of shots and though he didn’t look in any trouble at any stage he was noticeably marked up quite a bit around the eyes an face an that was only a few rounds You would’ve Hrgovic punches would have even greater impact? Also apart from Zhang has anyone else really tested Kabayels chin?

The mere fact that he passed that one, speaks volumes.:deal:

True... He looked fairly unfazed - he wasn't really bothered by Knyba (hardly surprising) and just walked through it to an easy stoppage.

Against an opponent not quite so overmatched would he do that? Probably not in quite so blasé a fashion.

Probably, but it's not saying that much - Knyba is a nobody at international level... Hrgovic doesn't have "**** you" power at gatekeeper-contender level, he's not a complete pillowfist but he's not stopping anyone durable either.

There's probably a bigger power gap from Hrgovic to Zhang than there is from Knyba to Hrgovic - Zhang hits bloody hard and it's punches you often don't see coming, so they have real impact... Hrgovic has nowhere near the percussive power of Zhang.
