Ignoring the fact both seem to be shot, this matchup could yield some great entertainment. If Spence goes toe-to-toe with Tszyu then I think he will likely be stopped, but if Spence boxes behind his jab (as we know he can do) then perhaps he is the slight favourite? Any which way I hope this fight happens.

... who the **** is his advisor? At the very least have him take a quick, easy tuneup at home just to shake off some rust and get a feel for things.
Baffling display of incompetence from his team.

Agreed! Crawford whoops any version of Spence, but would it have been more competitive if Spence wasn't drained? Keep in mind, I am not 100% convinced on any of the theories about weight or car accidents.

What you reckon @Pimp C .. Will Tszyu “chop” and “screw” Errol up?
Or Will Spence make Tim look like a 30k Millionaire?

Spence hasn't fought in years so id pick tim to beat him based on him being more active.

I am hearing they are trying to get this made in Queensland with Crocker v Paro for the IBF welterweight title as the co main.

Interested in what your reasoning is behind this one, Peter. Spence took a pasting for 9 rounds from an incredibly hard-hitting 147 and was stopped on his feet. Tim hasn't proven his chin against anyone, I don't think. Bakhram had him on the canvas with every left hook he landed, and Fundora put him down with the first meaningful shot he landed in their second fight. Spence might be shot to pieces, but I still think he is tougher and more proven than Tszyu is. Granted, Spence has been out for a long time and apparently has issues with sobriety, but I don't think it's as open and shut as people seem to think.

Are PBC going to replace Errol last minute as they did to give Fundora an advantage?

If not, this fight makes sense.

The fight was last minute for Fundora as well. They're both big boys. Tszyu could have said no or find another guy. But them Aussies are a diffrent breed. They see a 15ft croc and want to wrestle it when most dudes, myself included, are running for the hills. LOL
I think it's a classic crossroads fight. If both guys look good, I believe the loser can get another decent fight. Difficult to say who's career takes the biggest hit in a loss.

I swear to God most of these modern boxing promoters do not know what the **** they're doing and have zero comprehension of the sport. This is an abysmal idea, fine Tim lost brutally to Unfundora and Murderzaliev, but Earl wouldn't fair any better. This is a classic case of a shot fighter miscalculating and taking on someone they inaccurately think is more shot than they actually are.

I don’t think Tszyu is shot. He’s just a slow learner and has poor lateral movement. He’ll beat Spence’s breathing corpse for fun.

Both are damaged goods imo.. Spence more so. Tszyu should be beating this version.

If these two want to continue this fight makes sense, or throw Thurman in the mix, neither have them have it for the very top level, and probably not even just below. Spence had a great career and it’s ashame the Crawford fight completely finished, I always felt with Tszyu, his name and backing got him better opportunities and credit. An 80% version of Spence beats him but unfortunately I don’t think we’re at that level.

I certainly agree with your latter point, any outcome in this fight wouldn't surprise me. With respect to Tszyu-Murtazaliev, I feel the outcome had a lot more to do with Tszyu's poor defence and game plan rather than his chin, as he was repeatedly walking into flush full-force left hooks that would put anyone in the division in trouble IMO. I agree with your point that Spence is more proven than Tszyu, but at this juncture in time I think Spence is much more shot; the hellacious beating he took against Crawford will have certainly took a lot out of him, and against Crawford it seemed that any power shot that got through Spence's defence had him in trouble. Another factor here in Tszyu's favour is the weight, as you would always say the natural fighter at a particular weight has an advantage over the fighter moving up. Overall I don't think anything about your view is wrong, but it is just my subjective interpretation that at this point in time Spence is far gone and would likely lose to Tszyu.
